Every year Halloween gets a little more fun! In past years the kids were kind of scared to go knock on stranger's doors and say "Trick R' Treat." But this year they're rarin' to go! Bring on the candy!
More Fall Fun
"Helping" in the yard.
Wesley did not want to touch the inside of the pumpkin so he used a little scoop. Four hours later we carved it.
We had a busy week this week. Holly had a field trip on Monday to the Weston Red Barn Farm, Wesley had a school party on Thursday and then Holly's school party was on Friday.
Virgina, Sara & Joe drove up on Friday so that they could hang out with us in Maryville for the weekend. We had a full day with the parade, game and lots of yummy food. We had such a good time. The Krejci's headed back to Dallas on Sunday so it was a short trip, but soooo much fun.
We'll be visiting Dallas soon so that we can return the favor.
The girls wore their mermaid costumes to the parade and got lots of comments from dancers and cheerleaders in the parade.
We went to the Red Barn Farm this year in Weston. It's a great little farm to find a pumpkin and check out the farm animals, but the lines to buy anything were out of control. We had a great time but came home empty handed (I refuse to wait more than 10 minutes to buy a pumpkin or apple slushy - mama and crowds don't get along). Holly gets to go back with her class in a few weeks so hopefully we'll have better luck.
On Friday night, Holly and I had the wonderful pleasure of being in Kristal's wedding. This was Holly's first time as a flower girl and she did an amazing job.
